SSCCF – the friendly motoring event
Stony Stratford is the ‘Jewel in the Crown’ of Milton Keynes.
Located on the Roman road, Watling Street and the site of an ancient ford, for hundreds of years this historic market town has offered hospitality to the road weary traveller. Travellers today will find to their delight, many fine hostelries and restaurants and places of interest, nestling in this place of good cheer.
The Stony Stratford Classic Car Festival has grown in stature over the years and now attract an incredibly varied display of vehicles from concourse to ‘well used’.
Run in partnership with Stony Stratford Business Association, as part of ‘Stony Live week’, this is an informal gathering of classic and vintage cars and motorcycles. The Market Square stage will host Live music throughout the day.
The event runs from 9:30am until 4:30pm. Spectators are free but the event is run in aid of Willen Hospice) so there will be opportunities to donate to this incredibly worthy cause.
The event’s historic success has now drawn the good people of Stony, restaurateur, shopkeeper and publican alike to throw open their doors and join the revelry. So come and join us, wander the displays, take in the sights, have a picnic by the river and enjoy the day.
We look forward to seeing you there.

Displaying your Vehicle
As previous years, all display vehicles should be a minimum of 25 years old, registered in 1990 or earlier. ‘Supercars' are of course still very welcome, if you have an interesting/unusual vehicle you would like to display, and are uncertain if eligible please contact us at [email protected]
‘NEW’ PRE-BOOKING YOUR SPACE
For 2015 we are introducing a pre-booking system. We are accepting pre-bookings for the highly desirable display area in the Market Square, however, our remaining parking areas, Cofferidge Close and the High Street do not need to be pre-booked prior to your arrival. To help with traffic flow, we are removing the Pre and Post 1975 and Super Car area restrictions in each of the three officially designated areas.
The Market Square will be reserved parking only for this year. We are holding these ‘premium’ pre-booked spaces (subject to our T&Cs) we would ask for minimum donation of £10 for Willen Hospice.
To take advantage of the pre-booking please click on the link below and follow the pre-booking instructions.
Individuals that have pre-booked and donated will receive a premium windscreen pass and rally plaque voucher (this can be redeemed at information tent on the day). Please don’t forget your pass as the Marshals will need to see this to provide entry to the Market Square.
To take advantage of your pre-booked space please arrive between 9-30 and 10-30am. After this time window has elapsed, remaining spaces will be made available to non-pre-booked exhibitors to fill the spaces. Please also note that we will be utilising the parking spaces around the Health Centre, where late pre-bookings may be located.
…OR JUST TURN UP AND DISPLAY
As with previous years, if you wish to just be a drive-up on the day exhibitor, you will be made more than welcome in any of the other car parks.
The team would like to remind visitors that this is a very informal gathering of like-minded individuals and enthusiasts. There is no company or individual profiteering, all donations will go to Willen Hospice. On the ‘actual day’ we would request that you arrive after 9:30am and make your way to your chosen area (see map). Our volunteer team of marshals will help to point you in the right direction. As per previous years, you will be asked for a suggested minimum donation of £5 per vehicle for Willen Hospice; (if you haven’t pre-booked).
Visitors to our previous events will know it can get quite busy at peak times with parking spaces a rare commodity for those arriving in the middle of the day, so please try and bear with us, we will do our best to get you parked. This might involve cruising around the town and even parking outside our designated display areas. As with previous years, we appreciate your cooperation and patience on the day.

If you are bringing a vehicle on a trailer please get in touch ([email protected]) as an early arrival will be strongly recommend (pre 9:30) we do have an off-site trailer park, although there are other car parks in the town.
If you represent an enthusiast group or car club, please get in touch so we can ‘try' and allocate you spaces together ([email protected]).
Finally, as with all open and public spaces, the public could well put in an appearance, they usually do at some point, so it makes sense to keep an eye on your vehicle and possessions, as the team cannot be held liable or responsible for any claim. Thanks for your co-operation and understanding.
We look forward to seeing you all there on the day!
